Restaurant Survey

1. It was hard to come up with the right questions as I did not want to offend anybody but also make the questions easy to understand and relevant. It was hard.

2. My survey was a little different as it asked more questions on what type of atmosphere and or style/ fad that the restaurant had. It was geared more towards how much people liked going there but not only for the food but for other reasons as well.

3. My demographic questions did help me a little with the results especially in the gender department as more than half of the people who took my survey were male and in the age section more than half were 13-17 years of age. This will help me gear the food and style of my restaurant towards those people.

4. One thing that my results really helped me with is the fact that when people go to restaurants they are more concerned about the food then anything else

5. 18 responses

6.

7. For an apprentice project i would like it if we went outside and do something for like the school in teams and see which team would sell the most, and then that team could get a study for one period.

Cardboard Collectibles

This case study was about how Upper Deck emerged as the first trading card company that sold trading cards as collectibles to collectors and adults instead of kids. The market skyrocketed and it is now a money-making business. Upper Deck continues to hold the market by coming out with new premiums every year.

Chapter 3: The Sports Market
Appeal: Upper Deck used collectible cards to appeal to adults.

Variety: They had a wide variety of sports and trading cards to choose from.

Professional athlete: Upper Deck uses images of Professional Athletes to entice people to buy their product, their product is based on these pictures.

Leadership: Upper Deck leads the Market.

Present-day: Upper Deck continues to make lots of money on trading cards.

I think we should research violence in sports to see which sports have the most violence and what we can do about it. We see it all the time but why does it happen. It boggles my mind as a sports player that somebody with that much money and wealth and fame would kill somebody.

Boston Olympics

My opinion on Boston being turned down for the Olympics is that it is wrong and we should been able to host them. One of the examples I think really stands out is the vibe. Boston is a great city and the people here are awesome, but if we hosted an Olympic games there would lots more people in the city to talk and hang out with and people would be happy and excited for the upcoming events. I believe the city would be way happier if we hosted an Olympics. My second reason we should have hosted the Olympics is that it would force the city to clean up and messes or projects the city has created and never finished. The city would be cleaner, the air would be fresher and the people would be happier, Boston should have hosted the Olympics.
